That is the downside. The devs would have to balance stuff assuming people bring a Time Mage with Hastega, which in turn would cause all raids to bring a time mage since that's what the content is balanced around.

We'd feel it less if we have more than just 8-man coil as a reference for endgame raiding. Your chances of finding a haste-bringer for a 24-man raid would be notably greater, for example.

With how Avalt made Hastega now, I think it is much more workable. It's just like SCH's Fey Glow and Fey Light, both of which aren't mandatory in raid content (just greatly appreciated).

I like this idea as well. I think a psychic class would be great!

Everything looked fine until that part. Crit giving double the amount (ala Adloquium) would be better. Full HP seems overpowered. Plus it invites all the elitists telling people how to play...'crit setup or GTFO' etc.

I'd also come up with a concept for a Time Mage job a while back, but mine differed in that it had its origins in Garlean territory and used a horologium.
Although, the Ishgardian Astrologian may also fit the class, lore-wise. They even have the cone-shaped hats. It *might* fit, considering the recent content concerning Shiva and the upcoming expansion involving Ishgard.

Also, would regular Haste being a cross-class action help with any potential "you must be this class" issues? Although that might just make a "you need to get to X level in this class" situation, instead.

Thank you for the input! Upon consideration you're correct, and I have amended Drain's critical trait to restore double HP to the caster as opposed to fully restoring HP.
