Summoner, all day. Raging strikes, then fully DoT a pet (They can't purify), Contagion so it lasts a full 40 seconds, then when all the group huddles up to the fairy/pet (which doesn't show DoTs in the party list) you Bane, tab over to someone on the edge of the group, and Bane again.
For maximum evil, wait till they're a bit low, then Spur/Rouse an Enkindle.
All of this, of course, after you've peeled their Protect off with your PVP abilities.
If they somehow miraculously lived, be sure to run in and Aetheric Burst so they're like crippled animals trying to defend themselves as you pick them off with Ruin II and Energy Drains as you move to safety/pursue.
Final note/tip: If a large group is retreating, Swiftcast a Tri-Disaster to give your melee time to catch the prey. It might only be a few seconds, but it could make the difference.

Scholar because it lets me 1v1 or 1v2 uncoordinated people and the bards that like to try and engage me in the middle of the field. Once they get low then they hit sprint to run the fight they start and I just proceed to ruin II them to death and go back to what I was doing.

Blm for that disgustingly amazing burst damage.
Pld for the stuns and covering abilities to support your group.

Marauder for me, the burst is incredible and just when they think they got away you Holmgang them right back and finish the job. Soul crushing, I love it.

I love playing summoner, but really hate how my pet keeps going after a target even tho I press heal 500 times. White mage is fun because I like testing my skills at staying alive and keeping others alive. Bard is the most fun when I'm alliance B and I blast shot them off the ramp ;)
