The Wandering Carbuncle of Revenant's Toll

I have seen it sitting on a crate next to Talan with a chat bubble saying yip yip yip something like that.

I've also seen it on top of the shelter that the Chocobokeep is in. The odd part is that I've told someone in my FC about it, and when it's sitting right beside me he can't see it there. x3

Yeah, the carbuncle and her arcanist are both similar to minions in that they aren't 'locked' to a set location like most other NPCs but are randomized per client.

Isnt the Lost/rebel Carbuncle just a joke about how Horrible pet commands where at Launch and all through 2.1 and 2.2?

Randomly losing your pet, it not following even after you use the command, and you moving away causing the pet to become too far and it auto dismissing itself, and in the next trash pull you realize half way in you dont have a pet. -_- Using a warp point in Haukke Manor HM and the pet appearing in a random spot on the next floor and pulling mobs.
Hitting Abilities on Garuda and the move being put on cooldown, yet Garuda doesnt use the ability, etc, etc.

No I'm pretty sure its showing that Carbuncle or Ruby in this case can develop a mind of their own. Its either an elaborate game or Ruby is a mean construct.

Another reason the developers need to give in, and allow us to keep Emerald and Topaz as Summoners. I like the carbuncles, I do not like the egis.

Maybe Arcanist can have an Offhand weapon staring at level 30 that allows them to summon carbuncles instead of primals and fairies?

Though in Summoner's case there's need to eb a third carbucle. Preferably a Green Sapphire one.

Instead of ACN/SMN just switching out their original pets for Carbuncles, I would much rather see Carbuncle get added as a SMN's egi, with a revised moveset, after more egi get added and they hopefully get more diverse.
