You do know who "that guy" in the .gif is, right? And you do know the context of that picture and why "the guy" applauds with such vehemence, while the rest of the audience is only "half-assing it", don't you?

Please, say you do. That, after all is one of the most important and influential films in the entire history of cinema... and "that guy" is not only its great acting star, but also its genius director. This film is widely regarded, not only as his masterpiece, but also a masterpiece of film of all ages.
