Tuesday's Maintenance (26th of July).

7.5hrs maintenance? They must be doing some serious stuff. My guess is no content patch, but at least a bunch of bug fixes, spelling error corrections, maybe some adjustments to server-based lag etc. If not, then expect these things to come as a 1.19b in 1-2 weeks.

The 26th is my birthday. The maintenance is probably in preparation for our victory candescence. When we log in, we will be instructed to assume the party escort submission position. We will be baked, and then there will be will cake.

Good lord, its an Account Management System Maintenance, seriously, same people that complain stuff in game can´t barely read...

FFXIV doesn't use PlayOnline, FFXI does. Why would the FFXIV service be affected by this transition for 7.5hrs? O_o (I can understand the account management service being down though)

Probably because, they need to shutdown the SE ID server to receive new content for FFXI...

because FFXIV used SE ID.

Lame, I hope that's not all they intend to do though, 7.5hrs seems like a lot for just that.
