I'm just glad it's another Extreme fight that doesn't have tank swapping. Good lord, so sick of that "mechanic."

Tanks could go out of tank stance and be fairly robust DDs with the strat. Not as good as a DD but it still has the advantages of the Titan egi strat.

I think most tanks would be keeping strength accs by now for older content. Use those!

I spent all my tomes on dps class for coil and now because of roster issues, I have to go as tank for coil. Tanking T8 with a zenith curtana is really pushing it when 4 dps are on i110 weapons. Doable but pretty risky on dreadnought pulls for me.

I was planning to get the thunder sword to help me up since I thought I'd need to fight ramuh alot more than what my fc has been doing to have a chance at the sword and now this might just destroy my plans. I really don't like my chances, even in 'lock' pug parties. Guess I'll have to either save up for a stupid burtgang (I already bought 2 tome weapons because of role switches) or settle for levi sword. I only reached i100 on drg just last week for god's sake.

One Primal instance a group found a workaround for, and now the sky is falling lol

Considering as a tank I insta-queue everything and get lavished with praise for performing the bare minimum expected of me (holding aggro, staying in one spot except for avoiding AOEs), I think i'll just give this one a pass. Tanks have it pretty good, besides... this means we can like, use a dps class and haz some funz.

Hopefully it doesn't turn out as bad for tanks as Garuda X did for melee.

But it has a tank swap mechanic. It's just Titan-Egi makes that mechanic irrelevant, and the timing on your static buff makes it really strict to safely get it back up if you tried to solo-tank it with a PLD or WAR.
