Don't want everyone i my room

Um, other than for RP, is there actually any purpose to personal rooms? Just wondering.

^ This, so much. I'd lock it, but I spent good gil to fill it with furniture, I want people to see it.

What I don't want to see is 14 naked people all over my room doing who knows what >.> Now I have to burn it down and buy a new one lol

This may be a really ignorant question, but I haven't played in a few months, and just now joined an FC that has a house; but how much is the cost of a private room?

Also, I agree with the knock system. Very much like the OP, I'm I'm going to decorate and set up the room the way I'd like, I'd rather not EVERYONE in the FC's over 200 members be able to just stroll in haha.

not really. just fluff content. im surprised theres no locked doors myself...the fc home itself does, but it'll be nice if there was a bell/knock system just for a lil cuteness too.
plus some fcs already lock homes because ppl steal ideas's and have random naked partys or act like it's their place...sometimes it may get annoying haha

Yeah, how dare they implement a totally new addition to the game that isn't needed for any purpose except via player request. And you know, get feedback from to further improve.

Let's be real, XI's mog house felt more thought out and it even contained more features lol. Housing in XIV is more elaborate, but the fact I can specifically allow people in my room simply by havin them in my party or not, shows that she isn't too far off base with this feeling half thought out.

Maybe we can address this by introducing a "Friend" List (with the quotes) that way you can keep your Friend List and then your "Friend" List separate. You know the famous saying, "keep your enemies close, but keep your "friends" closer!"
But seriously, once we have more info on what Camate shared in the past, we'll be sure to announce it!

I'd love to have an acquaintance list, would make for a nice filter as it's hard to spot my close friends in my Friend's List.

Or do a "Mark as Favorite" on the Friend's List... same difference really.

Also, may we please finally have a Sort option in the FC Member List?

e.g. by name, job, rank, etc.

And that juicy FC in-game Calendar... mmm.
