Why are my Retainers only returning with Coeurl Meat HQ???

I've gotten a smn mog book and behemoth horn off quick ventures before

We can't have them bringing back rare items every time or nothing would be really rare.

Also I would prefer them to continually bring me the same junk versus a variety of junk which would quickly clog up storage. These items aren't worth much so there is no point in giving me 100 variations of 2 gil items to sort and vendor.

Its bad enough that several of us endured the "fish" rewards from Quick ventures for the last couple months, but now its beyond worse... fix it guys... fix it.

The same here, only one taffeta cloth in 1 month of daily ventures, no minion, just meat and skin...

They said that "quick" ventures have higher chance to get rare items than "field" ones. If you get tired from getting couerl meat then start using "quick" instead of "field" or just don't use ventures at all.

Just thought I'd bump this thread after I stumbled upon it when Googling about the crappy XIV Venture rewards 99% of the time, you would THINK that for having a high level (ilvl80+) retainer he'd bring back some more valuable than some skin or a chunk of meat, I get items of higher value from the quick adventures, this can't be right.

Yes but for most of us we can't be online every hour to collect the rewards and then re-send our retainers back out, so an 18-hour long venture in the time we sleep and work *should* yield higher rewards... but it doesn't, and it's BS.

I send my retainers out ONLY on quick ventures, no point in the 18 hour one, that just nets more xp. And why do we care if our retainers get xp to level, when they bring back RNG fish/equip during quick ventures regardless of level? My i50 PLD brings back the same things as my i38 DRG.

Been running the new exploration venture since day 1 of 2.3, I've only seen Couerl and Hippo skins. I think i'll fall off my chair if I get something decent, it's that ridiculous.

Well, to be honest, I think sending your retainers on higher level ventures should atleast give you something a Quick Exploration/lower Field Exploration can't. It could still be some items that aren't worth alot, but atleast make it so that it's unique to 50+.. RNG or not, unfair remains unfair.
