I second this. Just a few days ago I went to a part of Ul'dah city I rarely visit, and I noticed it was raining even though I was inside. So i tried to tilt the camera to look upwards, but I actually had to take several steps ahead to be able to see the large opening in the ceiling.
Some might not know but Ctrl + arrow keys (up / down) will tilt your camera.
Home will make you go in first person mode.. o..o
I hate the "like in real life" defense.
A. I can see perfectly upwards in real life, without bending my back.
B. Even if I had to bend my back, why can't my character just do the same?
C. Why curb our ability to explore and look around? I want to see the world and take awesome screenshots, but the weird angle it stops at prevents me from doing that with various structures, even in First-person mode.
You can already do this with the "Character face camera" button.
Just make your camera look down on your character like an eagle eye view and press it.
I forgot what the original key bind was but for me it's the "Pause/Break" button on my keyboard.
