as a person who plays exclusively on controller, i call BS.
Bard is one of the easiest classes to play for me, right behind paladin. if your having trouble with your output, its your setup that is bad.

WTF Again point missed.... Why did the nerf Bard? and I never said BARD was hard to play, I said its tough sustaining and avg amount of DPS on controller tbh Im probably the best BARD using a controller in any server I just want to know what why did Bard get a nerf while gradually they are adjusting other jobs..
This is absolutely wrong.
For starters, you can change the movement style on both PC and Playstation, to either Standard or Legacy movement. Complaining about that is pointless since it's a preferential decision.
Procs are delayed on Controller/Playstation? This is a first for me. I've never experienced nor heard of anyone else experiencing this.
BRD has not been nerfed in this patch, other jobs have gotten QoL adjustments, and only SMN/BLM have gotten buffs in the DPS department.
I suggest you learn how to play your job properly if you feel that BRD is underwhelming compared to other jobs, because I have no issues keeping up with our other DPS in coil (MNK, DRG, BLM) and everywhere else.
BRD is in a very good place at the moment, it is almost perfectly balanced.
This is hilarious.
Again, how and when were Bards nerfed? Please clarify.
(Just to explain basic logic and reasoning: a nerf means the class had its capabilities reduced in some fashion. Unless all other classes were buffed at the same time while Bard was left alone there is no rational way to claim that a buff to another class is a nerf to Bards.)
exactly, countless people have already said no nerf this update.
Were did people miss your point?
OP why do you keep mentioning nerf? Or do you say so as other classes do more damage? Just curious
Summoner on the other hand is much harder using a controller.
Yea I said it...

For being a support job, bard does plenty of respectable DPS. I think the misconception in most people's minds are they still look at it like a pure DPS role and try to compare it to the others when no comparison should be made. You can kinda blame SE for that by labeling a support as DPS, but it's my understanding that they simply did that temporarily since there's not enough support-type skills and jobs yo warrant their own category (plus the trinity system is easiest to balance that way).
See...this is why I can't be a moderator.
