The 3 trees cost 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 = 55 skill points each so 165 skills point to have all at level 10
If we follow same pattern rank 1 = 1 skill point , rank 2 = 2 skill points then we get :
1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17+18+19+20 = 210 skill points
maybe less points for but there is not really need to reset if I understood we will reach the top in each category

Not sure that long. :) since the changes (can ride without withdrawing) and weekly companion challenge my chocobo leveled rather fast.
After it depends on how people play.
People that only log Tuesday for coil2 will not get their chocobo maxed. People that use often their chocobo are the ones that will need a better chocobo and will get them faster :)
I might be wrong maybe it will be 3 years :)
