The meteor would be a nice and FF-classic method to destroy all lol
..and maybe the meteor could bring other creatures/threats inside, ala ff5 (i love)
I'm for it.
(i know i'm so classic here ahah)

A quest in Wineport suggests that the smaller of the 2 moons is getting bigger.Quote:
And is the 7th Umbral Era going to be ushered in by Meteor?
Are the invasion locations random or always the same locations?
There is also a new NPC in Gridiana that takes the Deaspected Crystals. Trade 30 for a Peregine Helm (red feather version of onion helm) att +1 acc+1 magic potency +1 m acc+1 r30 all class.
What kind of level are the enemies? Is this something anyone can get involved with, or should I continue to ignore this stuff (I've seen Alfgar shouting about it)? My highest rank is still a mere 26, so...
well they nerfed SP hardcore for solo/casual players to be impossible to level at all, why couldnt they have allowed these mobs to give SP? would that have made the games leveling easy mode or something?
anyway, do deaspected crystals have a purpose yet?
From what I am told, these invasions happen at set times of the day, and in order of location (Tranquil, Horizon, Bloodshore). Not quite sure on the times as of yet. However, it could be VERY efficient leveling if you got a group of 20s-30s together to do all 3 each day.
Nope, you can't level on it as they don't give any SP. It is doable by a R25ish character as that's the rank of the mobs spawned. Did it twice, only got deaspected crystals...still, pretty nice to see this kind of thing.
Im going to have to try this out now lol. This reminds me of when they ninja'd in the prophets a few patches ago. I'm just sitting in Camp Horizon minding my own business and this guy appears and I'm like "whoah!? is that a GM?" Then leve quest monsters spawned on the edge of the camp and started walking into the camp and I drew my sword and went at them. bout 2 minutes later half of the afk/crafting people were all dead and the prophet left rofl. (A gnat's brundleflight got off a nasty thunderstrike that took out about 5 people haha) That day was officially the most fun I had had in the game thus far. This new mini-event sounds like a similar random "Send waves of monsters to attack unsuspecting players" fun event.
