Commendation Rewards

I have 874 commendations and I got them in a legit way. I don't do PvP, but every roulette everyday. I would really love to have more rewards with that system.

Kind of understand Guildhests (although still disagree) but not having commendations in Trials and Coil is just stupid.

Spamming Guildhests for a while as a tank/healer and you could get all the items in a weekend if you work at it.

But you have to actually, you know, be good at your job in some of them. Of course getting commendations for those first few Guildhests which could be solo'd is silly. But even at the stage where most people are over geared, if I'm carrying people through Titan and someone deems that commendation worthy I'd be inclined to agree. As for Coil, the turns vary too wildly for an opinion. Can you get them for Turn 3? Lol. If so, of course that should be a no no. Turn 5 though? I'd say that would be commendation worthy if you were one of the brighter stars of the attempt and actually managed to get a kill.

Sorry, I don't know if I'm missing something here. I don't know how this is an issue. The commendations rewards don't even break the game's balance. They don't offer any advantage or anything...

I would rather they not add more commendation rewards. I dislike popularity contests in games, and even moreso when there are unique rewards attached to them.

I can't imagine too many people actually bothered to do this, but queue for German only in a single Guildhest and you will be pretty much guaranteed to get each other as party members.

I don't play that often but I just got to 500. If you play as a tank or healer you'll get a lot.

Commendations are a joke. A Commendation will always be given to a Free Company member or a significant other in RL. Commendations are supposed to be given out to the most outstanding member of your group, basically given out as a medal to players that performed superbly in a party. That’s what there for, that’s why they are called commendations.

Instead commendations are given out to friends and FC members, like it’s something to be expected from their in group. What is it with this group mentality? Can this community stop throwing around commendations like candy? And you know, actually give to people that earned it?

You do know that if you do it with your FC or friend, you usually team up before the fight, and anyone who teamed up with each other actually can't vote for each other? So...your argument is not valid. :)
