Questions about chocobos in patch 2.3

Uhm they never said gold saucer or the end of the zodiac weapons would come with 2.4, for all we know it could be for expansion.

Shiva however is 2.4 content, they already said she wouldn't come with 2.3 but the story of 2.3 will serve as an opening for Shiva, and apparently they release a new primal each major update.

I don't know why people think golden saucer is expansion content

Maybe the gold saucer chocobo content will make ranking up a bit less of an eternity?

Well theoretically wouldnt u be able to master more than one additional tree since each rank gives more than one point? (rank 3 gives 3 points for example) so u could purchase more than one skill per level. Then again my chocobos only rank 4 so my understanding can be off.

Skill point requirement = skill points you earn.

At rank 7 you get 7 points, but rank 7 skills cost 7 points

Yes but at rank 11 youll get get 11 points, correct? Thats enough to go up nearly half of a tree. depending on how high the new cap is you may have enough points to master(at the very least) one tree and some change. If this is the case i think theyll need to revamp the stance system. Im thinking something similar to the companion system in star wars the old republic where u choose which individual skills your companion uses. mainly because i plan on mastering dps and healing, but want some of the tank traits but dont want him to pull any aggro.

Or they could just enable having multiple stances active at once

Well yes, the whole point of this change is to be able to max the others, if they don't change anything you only need rank 18 to max all skills.

Sseeing how bad exp scales 1-10 you can guess how many months it will take to max everything.
