Exactly the same thing. Sometimes auto attack just completely stops working. Happened to me on Rabanastre, 7/23/2011 around 7pm PST in the Nanawa Mines fighting Cursed Eyes. I got petrified, and after it went away I literally just stood there, weapon drawn, facing the right way, no negative status effects, locked on the mob, and did nothing for a minute before I had to run away. Please fix this asap. =/
