Since we're getting chocobo raising soon, maybe bring chocobo eater and involve him somehow with the quest?
Or make him spawn once in while behind a player that is riding a chocobo. Following the player for 1 min, if he catches him instant death. Would turn some boring walks in an interesting race.

Please. With a sombrero and mustache, and hell maybe a mariachi guitar. Or cactuar adds that play music. All cactuars here would be great. The Afro one from 13-3, with a guitar playing one with some other one or whatever would be too good.
