Crisis!

I'm pretty sure you got all the answers you needed regarding fertilizer, but your plants can and will die if you don't water/tend them. Especially higher tier crops like glazenuts and jute.

To put it in perspective for you, I work every weekday and log in for at least some amount of time every day after work. I would normally Tend each plant I have growing right when I log in before applying my fertilizer to it since I always log out at my house. So once a day. When I started getting to Glazenut/Jute plants, I would notice that my one time a day wasn't enough. I would log in the following day and my plants would be smoking and the tooltip would say "This crop has seen better days..."

From there, a simple tending will restore them back to doing well, but I just don't like seeing the plants looking half-dead lol. Now I water them once when I log in, and again right before logging out and I don't get that problem anymore.

Fertilizer helps shorten the length of the growth period, but tending them is what you really need to do to keep them alive.

Oh, don't worry, I already knew this since I tend the plants with her all the time!
I do the same idea as you. When I wake up I water them (around 10am). WHen I get home from work (midnight-ish) or just when I'm about to go to bed if I didn't have to work, I tend them again. Generally only 12hours-ish pass in between the last time they have been tended. It's been fine like that so far *-*

It's around 20.20 in Spain now though so I doubt she'll be in school.

I honestly don't know the specifics.
I just cared about being lonely for a week qq.
All I know is it's field work for her class (which has to do with weather and climates and such), and like me she'll be focused on work with no internet and her cell is for emergencies only while at her university/on trips.
I remember how it was having a cellphone in highschool.
People wouldn't stop texting or trying to call me -___-
so I changed my number and gave it to only to my closest 2 friends other than family members.
Then all became silent... well that and I turned it off all day after changing my number 8D
To this day I still enjoy the peace and quiet :cool:

Edit: if you can't tell I like the independence without friends in school complaining to me the guy they like doesn't like her, or someone wants help, or is just bored in class and wants to chat xD I went to school to learn, not text all day lol
