I don't understand why this is in the rotation anyway. Given the way fates scale with population on the map, there's no way the NPC can survive if you're trying to run this alone and there are lowbies in Eastern for their main quests, or capped players running their beast tribe quests. The npc dies long before the fate can complete.
It's one thing to sit around for 2-3 hours waiting for a fate to pop alone, but another altogether to ask the same of friends to be certain that you can complete it. Is this Square's way of ensuring the only people who can hit Novus atm are in large FC? This better scale down as average ilvl increases, as it's idiotic in it's current state.
Grind =/= Challenge.
I'd rather do nine solo instances as hard as Titan to get my upgrade than participate in a process little different to the failed Korean grinder that 1.0 was.

What's worse is that players can be right next to the fate and won't say anything learned pretty quickly not to rely on other player's help. Example was trying to do Bellyful asked for help and no one responded as I was running to the fate when I arrived there were like 6 players already there if say I had waited till somebody responded I would have not gotten gold or missed the fate completely. It's pretty sad that the community is like this sometimes.
