If we ever delve deeper into garlean territory I could see Alexander being a main prescense, Doomtrain someone a while ago came up with an awesome idea about how the train in CM gets corrupted by all the crystals it carries thus turning into Doomtrain.
Hades or anima would be a good candidate for dark primal.

Alexander is the last boss of CT, and in fact is CT. The 18 man alliance are split into different zones: one party on the ground, one on top of him, and one inside him. They can't see each other, but the mechanics of the three zones have repercussions on each other, so there has to be a lot of chatter between them. Like, the team on top needs to disable his force shield so that the ground team can fire the cannons, but not before the infiltration team have reached the safe zone, etc...
In any case, I think that Alexander should be an Elder Primal. If we need a standard Light Primal, we always have Maduin.
I was always partial to Hades from FFVII. Wouldn't mind seeing him here.
We need Alexander. The last time we saw a "real" Alexander was in XI :(
I hope they do him justice in this game and that it doesn't end up like Diabolos or Siren.
