Morbol Menace a bit unfair for Bards

You can always use a potion to heal yourself. if you need more heals you can use second wind. (kinda sucks for bards but it's something) Idk if it can be slowed but you can use feint? Just throwing stuff out here if you're adamant on doing treasure hunt on BRD

potions barely heal anything and second wind will only be useable once before you're dead.

As for feint, we can use it but I'm not sure slow will work on it. I know sleep doesn't.

There is a trick you can use to get away from bind.
Make sure you have a local mob attacking you when you open the chest. Since attacks from enemies clear bind, you'll be unbound and can run away from breath.

I addressed this. You rely on the enemy actually being able to hit you.

If you're using a healer chocobo, you can also have it switch aggro from you to it and if you hit it again, you'll kill it.

I haven't done any of these maps so I have no clue, but cant you just silence bad breath? (honest question)

1st of all... How the hell do u get hit by an AoE as a bard? Isn't bard/ archer the most mobile class atm?
Probably will be 2nd when ninja/ rogue get's released.

The bind move isn't an aoe and it has no cast and no cone. It's instant. You don't have to close to be hit by it either.
You can't avoid the bad breath aoe when you're bound. You cannot move.

Well from what I know of that boss, it has an instant unavoidable bind then is followed by its breath aoe, so mobility does squat :p

Oops forgot to add but aren't there potions that increase bind resistance or something?
Also if there are any low level mobs why not just attack em and ignore them after so that when you do get bind, you can break free via an enemy hitting you for minimal damage?

I haven't tried it on bard but...


Can it be silenced? Can you use your jump away skill to avoid either skill? (like elusive jump), I know you shouldn't have to rely on Chocobo, but if you are doing it as bard. Do you have a tank or healer boco?
Lastly: I don't know if this is correct but is there an esuna potion that breaks bind? _-_
