I would not be surprised if that race would be in the CGI.

Is anybody going to be recording this? my ISP decided they should do general system maintenance on their services the week of E3 and the live letter happens to fall right between their service window

I really wonder what the Gun Job will be... Instinct shouts "Musketeer is finally here!", seeing as its been so many years, and there are already Musketeers NPCs in game with a pistol on their hip. But then there is that comment "It's not what people will expect"... Which could mean anything, my first thought being the first boss of Pharos Sirius; uses a Sword, but pulls out a Gun for various moves.

Corsair, Orator/Beastmaster, Blue Mage, Red Mage, and Chemist are all likely in my mind. I like how it's not cut and dry like "The Dagger Class will clearly be Thief and Ninja, see: 2.2", but damn the anticipation is killing me...

There should absolutely be recordings/VODs when it's done.

I'm sad, I'll be asleep when this goes on (I'm already going to be at 23 hours awake when the Nintendo conference hits, nevermind staying up another 3-4 hours for this live letter to start, since I have work a few hours after). But I'm still already feeling the hype.

Also, my personal money is on the Gunner class being Chemist or something similar, with the idea being that it's a healer class whose heals are on instant (like Regen, still proccing the GCD but no cast time) - however, it has to "reload", which requires standing still for cast times, and taking a period to not be healing.
