Any way to disable this new smart un-away system?

Oh that sucks. :( We need both auto-away and manually set afk.

Auto afk doesn't work for me as my mouse dpi is set really high the game thinks it's moving though it's not.

Auto-back should only work if you were set to away by auto-away.

There also needs to be some other indicator on your screen that you are in away mode other than the icon next to your name that is off by default (why would you ever turn it on?).

I agree. I'm annoyed by this new "auto-back" system.

Either have the "auto-back" disabled when "auto-away" is turned off,
or have another option to enable or disable the "auto-back" feature.

Just curious, do you have enabled the setting for using controllers while the window is out of focus? I can't test it right now because of the maint but it just occurred to me that I did have that enabled so maybe that was how it sensed mouse movement despite being out of focus. Will have to see when I can next get in.

lol yep, I use /busy most of the time when I zone into a city as I can't stand these rmt /tells anymore and my blist is always full lol

Shouldn't be enabled, I don't use a controller anyways. I could, but really don't feel like it'd have any benefits over Naga.

Nope, I was wrong, that setting doesn't affect it. Seems it's purely time based (the few seconds you mentioned before that I must have accidentally skipped over reading, I'm very sorry for missing that). If I'm too slow to alt-tab into the other program then even just using the alt-tab shortcut itself will disable the /afk status.
