I will just heal maybe an aero for the first few fights until I'm sure of the group then if it's going well I will nuke from that point.

Exactly. Yesterday for my animus book: copperbell mines normal mode (yippee!) so went there, got a DRG (thank god) and 2 low-level players (hopefully it wasnt their alts, didn't seem so.)

Mashing 2 buttons for everyone, where you only need 1 cure here and there, makes this a loooooonnnng dungeon.

I asked nicely to the cnj: can you please use Stone?

He answered with an emote: XXX is vehemently against your statement (something like that)

So a healer that heals. Make sense. A healer that only heals? I am not sure..

A player that doesn't use his full arsenal of options in order to make the whole event less painful: hmm.. ^^

At least I got 2 Commendations, and gave mine to the DRG, as the other ACN wasn't too cooperative as well ;)

Tanks are leading the way to mobs. If a DPS attacks a target before me, unless we are in FC or Friend party and it's a real mistake, else: you tank it. Marks are there for us to use, so others know where we will put our most attention. If you hit another one (as melee, not AoE) then.. you make things easy for the party for sure lol

I will heal in Cleric Stance in low-lvl dungeons. So minimal that we kill the mobs faster, and Tank suffers pretty much no damage. If things gets rough, I take out Cleric Stance ;)

Statement about sleep: True.

Marking should be ingrained, it doesn't do any damage except on your screen, it's a good habit to keep. Plus: my GF is using a 13 in laptop. She has a hard time to select the proper mobs sometimes: Marking: problem solved. You never know who you'll be matched with, and you don't know what they are using to play. Being smart is using all the tools given, to make things simpler and as you stated: faster. (and you cannot assume smartness in PUGs lol)

Last one: True as well. Communication is key to success.

I've done this, actually, laat night in Turn 5! I managed to get it off in time to heal the tank (Thank you crit heals and damn you Aclepius but it's just one of those things that you don't realize. Not to mention it doesn't cause a GCD unlike its actual cast, which makes it annoying. So, yeah. Tip to all healers: If your tank is taking substantial damage with no break for a bit, DO NOT DPS. If it's a mob. Wait for the first to die. That way the damage output is reduced. Healers aren't a DPS class. I've had the same timers on Copperbell as a healer only healing as when I ran as my SCH and was DPS'ing. So, stop complaining to us to DPS. Some of us just don't want too!

Sometimes I'm running CT with a bunch of people from my FC, and we're all in Teamspeak together, sometimes we'll mark someone for any given reason (for example, we're taking a fellow FC member who's a fresh 50 through it for the first time. Mark yourself with a triangle or something, tell the new guy to find the triangle and run to it during King Behemoth's meteors). But we'll talk about it in teamspeak, not necessarily in party/alliance chat.

I was expecting a "funny moment" thread but it's a "list what annoys me" thread. Awesome. Don't see enough of them.

Yep, have to reword better: Healing have problems and healer in cleric stance.
