While it would be awesome if the event was in 1.18, I don't recall seeing any mention of a specific time. I could be 100% wrong and if so please link me to where it does say that. I guess we'll know in about 2 hours either way when the notes go up (hopefully) lol.

also about your topic id guess mats via bells that need to be crafted.

They didn't do bells for Easter so hopefully they won't revert back. There is a beach in Aleport in Limsa that has a bunch of NPCs they could use for it.

It was in the producers letter that came out yesterday.

I think its set to come out with 1.19 and the "Ifrit Battle".

Read the end of it, it tells us to keep rockin' the swimsuits or whatever even after the event is over. Why would he tell us this if it was coming in 1.19 when there will be future producers letters before then? I personally think it will involve bombs. They are really the only fire type mobs that are really trademark FF mobs I can think of.

Since the producer letter mentions a "certain type" of monster, that implies plurality. Since it's fire-based, one immediately would think of bombs.

That doesn't mean Ifrit won't make an appearance to laugh at you nipple-less men in your unnecessarily two-piece swimsuits.
