Veteran rewards, buying a collector's edition upgrade, some achievements, and the level 30 conjurer quest will unlock additional mounts.

It depends - some are special bonuses that were gained through purchasing the collector's edition to the game, some are gained from the daily beastmen quests, some are Veteran Rewards given to you automatically for simply subscribing to the game for a certain length of time, some are quested, some are very rare drops for completing the extreme mode Primals, some are unlocked by completing certain achievements, or completing the storyline.

And some were only available in the original version of FFXIV (version 1.0) that is now shut down and are thus now unattainable (these are the original Goobbue and Legacy Chocobo).

This is a list of the currently known mounts in the game and how to attain them.

You can also get GC seals by doing GC levequests...an average low level FATE gives you 80-100 GC seals, a GC leve + time completion bonus gives you around 200

You can easily get 1000 seals by completing Halatali dungeon for hunting log. Then kill some other monsters from GC hunting log to get the other 1000. It is faster than low level Fates.
