On the topic of Lightning Strikes.

I really hope the world has seen the last of XIII in every form possible.

Not too crazy about these cross game ad campaigns either as I think they cheapen the artistic value of both products.

Not currently having plans to bring it back =/= never bringing the event back. Just keep begging and eventually they'll cave, as they have with a number of other requests on these forums.

I like LR but I don't mind having missed out on the event. I would really love the equipment though, especially the weapons. They look great. I don't understand why we can't buy them anywhere. If the event is not going to come back, what's the matter?

just wait down the road. most likely eventually there will be a remake to finally put that game on ps4 or make a bundle of the trilogy for the ps4 and they may do another event. that seems the most logical though it'll most likely be during 3.0/4.0+

I think it is okay to have limited events that essentially come with their own set of limited awards. It adds some allure to the game as there will be items/achievements/etc... that only players during that time can attain. There is nothing wrong with that.

And lets face it, the event wasn't really that special or interesting outside of the rewards that could be collected.

If Lightning were to come back, I'd rather see them do it right and bring an interesting even to the game as opposed to piggy-backing on the FATE system.

MMOs have had, and will continue to have, events. This is no exception.
There was a number of years of content before the ps4 version was released. Are you going to ask them to launch version 1.23c for the ps4 client? One event isn't the end of the world. Trust me, I've been there when the world ended, so I'd know.

then they break promises without any compromise if they were to ever add this. WHICH is why is been said they WONT add it.

If like that you should also ask for Legacy Chocobo & LEGACY MARK as well then!
