If you have a schedule that works with a static you can find a fun group to do things with. If you don't you're going to run into a majority of absolutely horrible players and/or pricks.

Nice to see that out of all the replies, only 2 are the kind of assholes you don't want to meet in the game :)

I vote for coming back. I mean, the main complaint I read about is random pug dungeons and the only ones that you HACE to pug right now are roulettes. If I remember correctly, I believe it was mentioned that you'll be able to group up with friends for the roulettes from now on. If that's the case, you'll only open yourself up to "bad people" if you choose to risk it. I just got back after taking a break before the release of 2.0 and I love the new content.
