Primal Mounts! as a Achievement reward.

I was under the impression that the mounts were something that was there to try to draw experienced players back to the extreme primals so that they would hopefully run with newer players and help keep players moving through content. Unfortunately, the drop rate is so low, combined with the 1/8 chance of actually winning the mount makes it infeasible to farm, so there is no reason for experienced players to go back and help with the extreme primals.

Even the mirror drop rate is too low to keep a decent number of people trying to farm it, which can be seen by how rare leviathan groups have become.

I too thought that they wanted to ride Garuda. So glad it was just someone wanting to collect ponies.

I like this idea a lot.

I have all the ex primals weapons and used to run them to cap myth while I farmed the mounts.
To this day I only saw Nightmare 2 times. One in Ifrit Ex and one in Garuda Ex.
Needless to say, rolling with 7 more players and my fantastic luck, i had less than 20 need on both. So i didnt get them.

As such, I'm all for this.
I get that they're supposed to be rare, but there is no prestige in winning a RNG lot.
