I can never figure that one out since all WHMs do is stare at HP bars and scan the party for debuffs.
It's a bright red buff icon that you should notice every time you SS yourself or check the timer on your heal procs.

As a Warrior, I can confirm that my slogan is 100% accurate.

For me, it's mostly because the button don't turn off even though I clicked it. (Or might of double clicked)
