What changes would make you quit FFXIV?

In answer to the question posed in the thread's subject:

I would quit the game if SE decided to end the free trial and the game still sucked.

From a purely objective standpoint, I don't see why you have so many grievances with someone expressing their opinion.

To clarify (in case you missed it), I am of the opinion that FFXIV is discarding too many features that were assets to the game itself. For all the good they do adding features, they do just as much bad deleting some.

The landscape of the game is changing and it is indeed false advertising if it persists this way. When you cannot even claim to have the same features discussed on www.finalfantasyxiv.com nor even the same inclination to improve them or head in the same direction, then something is wrong with the game's identity.

Well everyone seems to bring a lot of personal bias toward my threads purely because I write them rather than responding to them in a polite, professional manner. Which is what I would expect.

Gotta say...I've thought about it, and while the verdict is still out on auto-attack until 1.18 goes live and I see it for myself, I can't think of anything either.

They're not getting rid of the Amoury system. dis is a misconception.

I would quit if they bring back dumb ass stuff such as 24hour NMs, 72hour instanced/events cooldowns, pretty much anything that lenghthen contents by streching cooldowns because they cant be arse'd to make difficult contents or fasten up the pace of content release.

I dont care if they take it all down and rebuild im not attached to anything at all.But ill dig if next patches show some real progress.I know you liked the game old direction but its long gone.I moved on from that , so lets see what game we turn out with in a few days.
