Tank Swaps how to do it right?

If your tank partner isn't terribly undergeared or bad, there is no reason to ever stop auto attack. Just don't use attacks with enmity bonus when you approach a swap.
The provoking tank should save an instant like CoS, Spirits Within, Brutal Swing or Inner Beast to use in addition to hate combo after provoking.

At swap time start with 5 stacks of wrath and finishing with Storm's Eye: Unchained > Heavy Swing (Internal Release) > Skull Sunder (Berserk) > Provoke > Butcher's Block (Brutal Swing) > HS > SS > BB > hate sealed.

You don't need unchained, it just helps if you are with a derpy co-tank who may be mid hate combo and oblivious. It lets you build a strong lead over the other tank though so there is no danger of flip flopping hate during the first few seconds.

If you are PLD then FB (FoF)> SB (Provoke) > RoH (Spirits Within) > FB (CoS) > SB > RoH

If you have hate and the OT is about to take it just start your OT rotation (SP/SE combo as WAR or just slow down the combo so you are not landing a RoH right after the provoke if PLD, then switch to sword oath)

I'm not terribly undergeared (i think ilvl 80?)

So after provke I should use either BB ending that combo or brutal swing.
If I inner beast it I wonder if BB can still be completed after hitting that and voke in the middle.

[To take over the hate]

For PLD :
Fast Blade -> Savage Blade -> Provoke -> Rage of Halone* -> [Rage of Halone combo]

For WAR :
Heavy Swing -> Skull Sunder -> Provoke -> Butcher Block* -> [Butcher Block combo]

U can also add off-GCD skills (Spirits Within/Steel Cyclone/etc) after the skill I marked with *, while waiting for GCD to start main combo ;)

Just sheath your weapon (Z)

What about the suprana grab after chirada in phase 1?

At this point chirada is dead so I can't do the BB combo without going right next to chir&gar to combo the first 2 hits of bb combo hitting voke and then conpleting bb.

Is this enough to start running to SE area while throwing few ranged attacks in on the move?

In my experience, the easiest way to grab the new snake as OT is this: When you see the "water" splash off CAD's back he is going to split. After you see that stack on MT, and right when the split happens, flash+AoE move (I am pld so I usually do Flash+Circle of Scorn). Im not positive, but the new snake is usually the second one on the enemy list. SO stack on tank, when you see it pop, the mt should be moving already, pop flash and a AOE move, flash+Tomahawk then settle in. Remember voke only puts you even with highest threat+1. SO using it to grab the split after you have popped a few threat builders isn't beneficial as you have really gained nothing from it. If you were to use it, I see it being more effective after tossing a lot of threat moves at it and it's not budging or if heals get a crit on you and deserves CAD's attention ^.~

For the most part though use that strat, you should get much cleaner splits.

I do have flash from pld but it often seems useless. Would the snake be good to grab with flash+overwhelm?
I don't understand how stacking on mt in advance helps because in front of snake there are massive attacks going on.

I usually stand right next to cadeus in a way that the tail seipes don't get me but healers wont need to focus on me with the frontal attacks.

Correct placement before split. Stacking on tank (or moving to MT spot) ONLY happens after the "water splash" off CAD's back. That is your que to get into position, in the spot the MT was standing. Usually the MT will start to drag his snake away at that point as well so lessens the chance of a hood swipe. At that point heals should already know who they are on in terms of focus heals.

You are correct in that Flash+Overwhelm, will be enough to claim him, you could even go Flash+Overwhelm+Flash/Tomahawk, then tank like normal and enjoy the face smashing ^.^

I'm going to try these tips now and see how it goes. It's super stressful because every time I fail everyone does and that results in everyone hating me :(

I know what I'm supposed to do but in a real situation anything can happen.
I just hope I learn before everyone blacklists me.
