Unable to connect to NA/EU data centres

only unitymedia/upc? Very interesting! ;D

Same here for me (Kabel BW) and my friend (unity media)....
First we had a couple of 90k's and now we can't connect to the lobby/data center.

I still can login into the japanese ones, but not EU/NA....

Please test this: change your routers UM/KBW/UPC DNS to 8.8.8.8 (google DNS)

no change at all...
i can ping the google server (8.8.8.8) without any probs, but i can't ping the lobby or the server i'm playing on...

but tbh... it can't be the solution for us to change dns while it was working fine with presets till tonight

Will using a proxy service work?

Funny, I changed to Japan data center and could go in, then i changed to EU and other NA data center and all worked,then i c hanged back to my NA data center and could log in

funny workaround... either they fixed it and didn't tell anything or this is the only way for us to login atm :)

Solution:
1) Change your Datacenter to one of the japanes ones
2) Go back to the main screen and change it again to the one you are not playing on (EU or NA)
3) Go to the main screen again and change to the one you are playing on....

worked for me somehow... let's see what you guys can make with that :)

Edit: well... workaround seem not to be the solution :P my friend can also login without using it... maybe SE fixed it (i hope so...)

Edit2: After being online for about 5 min i got 90k again... dunno what i am paying for atm......

Yeah we are paying for EU servers located in... NA :/
EU servers should be located in EU datacenter. But well - yoshi don't care about EU :(

"SE" dont care about EU thats why they delete german/french language in ffxi........
