Are we stuck with the grand company once we choose one?

^THIS! Being that we are on the same server, I was in Limsa last night and it was practically empty! There was only 1 guy sitting in the adventurer's guild. Limsa used to be the second most populated city in the game, but lately it has been more sparse than Gridania on Bodhum.

Actually i think company reward are bound to guilds in the city-state, meaning if you are cnj and looking for cnj reward you might choose gridania.
I can't say for sure, but i'm confident will be like that

Just from looking around here, I'm getting the feeling that the Immortal Flames will actually be the least popular company. Call it a hunch, but people might be getting bored with Ul'dah....

Unless reward are better on others cities, lot of ppl will choose Ul'dah.
Gridania's jungle are so boring, even when you come there for 5min.
Limsa-Lominsa is to far from Gridania without teleportation.

As for me i'll probably follow my linkshell and they'll probably choose Ul'dah, and i think everyone will do the same.

Unless Kan-E-Senna is super hot, like Lion in FFXI, that everyone will want her on their CS, so i'd say in that case, it'll be 50~50

If they want people to spread out, they have to combine all the market wards in to one big market ward, otherwise people will just stay in Ul'dah, regardless of Grand Companies and what else they throw at us to make the other city-states appear more useful.

LL is not empty but it is horrid on besaid, same with gridania... sad.

I am going to see these grand company npc's it depends which one I will do though that is it pretty much :).

Well if its any thing like the campaign system from xi, you will probably be able to bounce around a bit, though doing so to much would come at the cost of dramatic loss in rank.

Actually the more i think about it, and the more info that comes out about the grand company's. The more and more its sounding like campaign. Don't get me wrong i absolutely adored the system. It was one of my most favorite things from late life ffxi. but there do seem to be some hefty similarity's.
