Relic Spells/Abilities

in final fantasy lore... in every ff game that has them... relic weapons are and very well should be extremely op... and extremely hard to obtain. I honestly don't look for the devs to dumb down relic content like everyone is crying for. I see them making it MUCH MUCH harder. and making the relic what it SHOULD be. not a required weapon... but an EXTREMELY power weapon that is OP.. its supposed to be. not everyone is supposed to have them.. nor should they.. when they make them easy to obtain you get what we had at the end of the ffxi's golden era.. everyone saying "relic only" ... before they nerfed the way to obtain them.. this was unheard of... so yes the weapons need to be extremely op and tip the balance of the game.. but they also need to be so hard to obtain that only a very very few people are able to obtain them.

they really do need some sort of cool after effect or added effect on them also..
if they start putting added effect weaponry/gear into play they would be able to make the game a lot more horizontal effectively increasing the longevity of the game. instead of raising ilv's put certain traits on newer gear/weaps... make them so they can enhance different play styles.. im really shocked they are just on this stat only bs.. it has never really been like that since ff1. so is the game regressing?

They could probably make it so that you can get upgrade to your relic one of two ways;

1) Current Atma / Animus grind way
2) Get something from highest raid content to progress through it faster

That way it can be both. Can be strongest weapon but if you're not completing the highest raid content, you'll just get it slower than those who are.
