FF14 PS4 install/update time?

you can play with out a SSD just fine i do for now.it should take about 3 hours maxs for every thing if your installing from the disk rather then the psn download then it should be around 2 hours for every thing but keep internet speed in mind ok.


Unfortunatelly - unlike PS3 - PS4 has no option to perform local backup to USB drive and then to restore it to new internal drive so you'd need to redownload everything after changing drive.

i thought they added this in the last update but it was only video and picture.
nvm it was only support for video clips and pictures to USB.

It's only video clips and pictures so far. I'm still holding out hope that if this last update could add those, then some near future update may add the rest so we can do real backups.

No need to be rude. I was trying to provide information based on what I've read or been told in the past. If I was mistaken, you can say that without insulting me.

I'm aware that OSes save data all the time, and made no comments in that regard to suggest otherwise, nor did I compare how often the PS4 saves to the HD. In fact I can't really find any clear data on how often the PS4 saves, so if you have information on that, I'd love to read it (no, I'm not being sarcastic. I like to be well informed).
