Botany will help with your cooking (lots of fruit and veg! lol)
Will also assist with Weaver (flax and hemp etc), so it's a good choice with your plan!
Just push thru the story and get those unlocks.....then Eorzea is your oyster!
:D

I will add that if you level up crafting and gathering, level them all together. They all work together well, share a lot of gear, and can share actions for better HQ rates.
ok THANKS FOR THE HELP! ;)
:cool:Thanks everybody for the help I got the airship pass and joined the botanist and now just have to figure out how to use it lol
Now im wondering if you can sell the items you make for more then what the NPC offer?
Depends of demand, as a blacksmith, prices can be good for a day or so then drop very quickly. I've been wondering tho, are provision missions same items for all or does it vary?
Once you complete the level 17 main storyline quest "Scions of the Seventh Dawn", you'll be able to have NPC assistants called "Retainers". They serve a few purposes, one of which is to sell items for you on the game market-boards. This is how you offer items for sale to other players, and yes, for most crafted items (as well as most dropped or gathered items) you can get significantly more from other players than you can by selling to NPCs. It's less certain, though, as you have to wait for someone to come to the board and decide to buy it from you.
ah ok cool thanks :)
OK since yall are nice and helpful....... So how many Jobs/class can you have? I just want to make sure I become a summoner. Usually I'm a sword and shield type character but when I started ff14 I wanted something different lol
