Honestly if galvanize would stack it would be gamebreaking since nobody would take damage anymore from standard aoe attacks.
Not to mention that classes should NEVER be designed around something that was not even intended in the first place.
T2 enrage should not exist and i wish SE would have stopped it earlier.

They'll never allow galvanize to stack as it would pretty much invalidate most game mechanics and put WHM's on the 'need-not-apply' list like Warrior's were pre-buff. Like with two Succors you are giving the entire team an adlo shield at a fraction of the cost, and could you imagine two adlo crits on the MT? That s**t would take most end-game bosses 10-15secs just to break. That much utility would be beyond broken and a nightmare to balance without gimping potency, which would in turn make solo-scholar a pain to play. That said I wouldn't mind seeing an additional effect added to Succor when recasted that states, if the current galvanize is greater than the new one being applied then 30% of that shields mitigation is converted into health (effectively making it a 195 pot heal, which is still weaker than the WHM's Medica so no threat to their role as a raid healer.)

Personally I think wanting to make changes to accommodate sch/sch or even whm/whm is a bad idea. Class diversity is very important to the overall health of a game and making stacking any class viable should be actively fought against. I would much prefer to see more interactions and rewards for coordination between the classes (not just healers) couple of quick examples to illustrate the point:
Trait for Regen that as long as a galvanize shield was on the tank that regen would replenish hp first then the shield value up to the maximum amount the shield was originally created for.
Trait for Succor that if a target is already affected by the Medica II HoT then no healing is done but rather a 250 potency barrier is erected on the target.
Trait for Adlo that if the shield has not been consumed and the target is hit by a cure spell that the duration is refreshed (not the amount of the shield). (could also invert this for stoneskin to have its duration refreshed by physick or embrace)
While I don't expect these to be viable because they are off the top of my head I would really love to see more interactions between the classes, and think this type of design is much more inclusive to the community as a whole.

Scholar doesn't need any kind of fixing done to it. I'd rather they make WHMs have some decent stat-synergy and work on the proc system a bit, also making some skills like Presence of Mind a bit more useful. Using T2 enrage as an example is not really the best either. Stacking Scholars is still possible with skilled players and in some content, it trivializes the fight (T5), but I am happy how Galvanize works as it is.

2 SCH is only inferior to other healer compositions if one or both SCHs are bad/inexperienced, or you're on one of the extremely few fights in the game that benefits from more AoE healing. A list of which does not include Titan EX, Ifrit EX, or Turn 2 enrage.
-
I think SCH are the superior healer at the moment, just based on their abilities, and the awkwardness of stacking them is what balances the group dynamic between them and WHM.
Stacking shields would allow more flexibility in groups, but then there's a balance issue to address.
-
SCHs do not need changing or altering, they do their job as the more powerful single target healer in the game.
By introducing a "stacking" galvanise they'd pretty much be invalidating WHMs, which is something they should not do, unless they buff WHMs.
I'm all for changing setups which may be optimal for certain fights (I.e 1 tank 5 Dps 2 heals in T8) but its not something that should be in the majority of fights. 2 SCH or 2 WHM should also be inferior to the 1 SCH/1 WHM set up.

If succor crits gave double shields... I think that would be enough to help things out in fights that need more aoe healing.
That said, I wonder if the game engine could handle a first stack gives effect 1, second stack gives effect 2 kind of effect for two SCH who overlap Succor. Maybe a TP/MP regen? Maybe something else (defense up for 10 seconds?).
-
you're thinking that doubleshields is a small buff though, but its not, its a huge deal
within a week whm would be uncalled for, sch/sch would be almost everywhere

stop relying on the DF and join PF groups or create/join a static. Most all experienced groups are whm/sch. if you can get 2 scholars to stack shields on top of anothers and with crit bonuses then lets break the game. i want my regen and med 1/2 to give an unstackable with another whm shield on initial cast. if it crits it doubles. cures can stay normal as they are like physick. ready for op healers?
