Either I need to move to another server.. or I've just had bad luck... because I've met quite a few not so nice people. :/ The community in the game is just as bad as in the forums imo. When will they let people in Legacy server move out to non-Legacy ones? :confused:

Well every server on any MMO has a few bad eggs, and yes I have ran into them on my server as well, but "overall" I am happy with my server :)

That's all I use is the DF for 90% of the content. 99% of the time I get Japanese players, the times I get NA players they we're nice to me, and if there are "rude people" I just go to my "free company" tab and enjoy some FC chatting and ignore the party chat :P.

I actually thought that video was one of IGNs "subtle" sarcasms, when I watched it this morning. They've been known to do that in the past.

I'd have to agree with some posters here in that the in-game community is not remarkably exceptional; I've had far more positive experiences with people in FFXI and WoW than I have here. But everyone's mileage will vary.

Plus, this is IGN. They get paid to exaggerate and blow smoke up peoples' rear ends.

Masamune is JP right? Maybe that's why! JP seem to be more polite than NA from what I've read. It's legacy too huh? :o I might just move there, seems like a good server. I speak some japanese so it shouldn't be too hard to communicate with japanese players. :)

Yeah it is :). If you do decide on moving here, we have an international FC called Distant Worlds and we have our large house already :D.

I've found it to be incorrect when people say server changes don't make a difference. My FC and I were miserable on another server.

We are extremely happy here. Yes, of course there are still a few rotten in the bunch. But overall, much much better.

But at the same time, there have been people who said the server we left was much better than the server they left.

@Shyluv Yeah, it's amazing how switching servers makes a big difference. Players from different countries, different cultures, I guess? Or is it just that bad apples decide to go all together to one specific server? lol
You should see PF in my server lol... full of hostility. I've actually saved some funny screenshots of them. There's some nice people here and there, but overall... too rude.

They clearly didn't come to these forums.
