don't ruin the gaming experience for others

A friend in my LS has a group dedicated to Castrum and Praetorium (and Westwind due to how much queues suck for it) runs for her FC members that are just getting to these areas so that they can get through the dungeon, experience the cutscenes, and go at their own pace. I run with them fairly often as a way to break up the monotony of my own daily BS, enjoy the conversations, and let people get the whole story.

If you really want to make a difference, you can form something like this for your own FC. Make a Linkshell for it.

This is not going away any time soon, so people can either continue to deal with it, or do something about it.

EDIT: Also, being rushed through cutscenes has nothing to do with being an elitist. Please stop using that word to describe anyone who does something that you don't like.

Don't skip CS because people are complaining. You have the right to watch it and if they kick you simply report them.

This is what we need to stop cut scene skipping for the new players seeing it for the first time:

All that's going to do is introduce people spamming the chat box to hurry up and click through the cutscenes. You are simply taking one issue and replacing it with another, with a higher reward for the people using the DF for roulettes and causing the issues in the first place.

Just let them speed run without you and just enjoy the cut scenes, although you will miss out on the battles. If you want in on the battles then skip the CS but then you miss out on the nice CS. (Can watch in the Inn but it's different feeling... I know.)

If you want both, best method is to create a party just for story through FC/PF but that might take a while before full party.

Just don't let the rude guys get to you.

the point of this thread wasn't to offend anyone, but point out that some people would like to watch CS's while doing missions and shouldn't be criticized for doing so.

You know what, that is good thing. The jerks harass people in the chat will have all the evidence captured right there, so you can report them and get them the suspension and ban they rightly deserve.
