ATMA how many do you have?

East Shroud= 6 hours.
Outer La Noscea= 2 hours.
Southern Thanalan= 4 hours.
The rest= under 5 fates :D
Pretty sure I had at least 4 where I got on my first fate.

12/12. Farmed almost non stop for 1½ day. Took breaks for sleeping. To me it is important to be as geared as I can be before doing end game content to be as little of a burden to others as possible.

Need to farm them again after i finished my first Atma weapon (first book complete)

I have 8. For the most part I've gotten all of them on either the first Fate I tried, or within 10 Fates. So now I will pick a zone, do about 10 Fates or so and if it doesn't drop I either switch zones or go do something else for a bit.

I got all 12 in the weekend after the patch, but I dropped everything else and consider myself one extremely lucky bastard not having to spend more than a few hours in a zone for one...
Seeing what a couple of my FC mates went through, unless they change the rate to a more predictable one I won't be doing another.

The trials after are fine though, absolutely fine.

Atma gathering like 12-16 hours over three days

Completed Thyrus Animus

Lower La Noscea: still 0 for almost a month since patch now.
Western & Central Thanalan: still 0 for like 3 weeks now.

Not too lucky on drops in certain regions (I'm looking at YOU Outer La Noscea =_=). While the JP atma theory doesn't hold water, it DOES help keep atma farming from being too hair-pulling. I don't worry about the suggested times, I just move to each region on the list in order at the top of the hour. I'll FATE grind until I either get the atma or about half an hour/45 mins have passed. Then I'll take a break til the top of the hour again. I'll only do maybe 3 regions or how ever many I feel up to. Following this method is how I got the 4 I have and a friend of mine got a few within a short time too after having received none thus far. :)

After my brain burned out, I didn't bother to count how long it took.
I had 12 atmas, I have none now. Not particularly eager to farm again.

7! I only had one until Saturday but got burnt out doing failed Levi farms (I feel like I'm the only one that can dodge middle dives, am I taking crazy pills?). Put in maybe 12hrs farming?

I just started at the top of the list and stayed in each region while I waited on PF or whatever until I got one.
