Yea, that is Soooo fake. We all know retainers will never be able to do FATEs for us. SE is dead set on forcing us to do them all day long. Otherwise, it's all pretty believable!

i do sort of hope the fate/dungeon thing could be real...

Once my retainer hits 50, i'd like to send him on a dungeon as a "Quick Exploration" to return with loot that the dungeon can drop. And the fate thing.... i would think of it more so a way to auto-farm GC seals, something like 5-10/hr with exp as well. Send retainer off for an undetermined set of time based on the tokens you pay them. so 2/hour, say you give him 48, then he'd get 24 hours worth of seals and experience

While I'm certainly not fond of retainers running content FOR you, I certainly am fond of the idea of retainers running content ALONGSIDE you as a kind of companion.
