When you open with "pretty much carrying everyone" it makes me lean more to more to this story
If you genuinely got kicked for doing nothing wrong, that is shameful on them but your opening sentence doesn't exactly scream innocent

Majority of your party thinks you should be kicked, that's enough reason by itself.
