I was hearing something similar to "Without a surface sakenly" a lot, so maybe the word we're looking for is "forsaken" or even "reckoning"? Although the latter is definitely more in tone with Gaurda than Leviathan, that "-acan-" sound seems to be getting both of us. Of course, your use of "awakening" fits just as well. Hrmm...
-I don't think the first word after the initial chorus is "Raging" anymore. It seems to start with either a "Dr" or a "Gr" and has a "s" sound in the middle. "Grace me/thee"? "Gracing" perhaps? Heck, "Tragedy" may even work! As for the following line, I can't stop hearing "Canadian is all we eat." ...I'm pretty sure it's wrong, though, haha!
-I'm also thinking the next line is more along the lines of: "Forsaken! She damns your souls(?)" I question the last word because I don't hear any "s" that would start it, but I prefer it over my previous version.
-After the repeat of the chorus, I'm hearing "Stormiest! Or maybe that is all there is." I don't really like the word "Stormiest", but I've also been hearing "Story is" for the longest time, but that makes no sense.
-I'm also not really hearing "My blood is red" anymore. It's sounding like "My poison" or "My blood risen". But the first one feels too short and the second doesn't quite work either.

Unfortunately there's no PM functionality here, so I gotta bump this and hope you see it, Mysteltain.
Not sure if you caught the small part of the female version during the stream, but if not there's a youtube copy here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQTEbkVK9CI#t=3m
I feel like the lyrics between the versions may differ a bit because she has the "my bloodlust" and "mistaken" lines in the same verse, which never happens in the Soken version AFAIK.

I look for this topic every couple days to see if you replied, no worries, haha! That version with the female vocals--outside of being badass--does clear up a few things, although it also muddies the waters (no pun intended). For starters...
-Finally, we know the first word after the chorus repeats: "Silence!" That one had been bothering me for the longest time. Now, the phrase after it I'm still not sure about either.
-Although I'm confident that the following line is "Mistaken! Whorls sunder." I'm hearing in the female vocals "Waves overhead." This is making me question some of my previous lines, because I'm not sure if I underestimated just how warped the male vocals are by some synthesizer. Of course, since this was one of Soken's early drafts, perhaps he changed the lines? It's far too up-in-the-air to properly figure it out.
-I can now hear "The rising!" in the third line, although the voice is still warped pretty heavily in my opinion. The following line I'm not sure of still. Yours is probably right, but I think it still has too many syllables.
-I am not budging on "Surge, against them all". She may sing "Surge, tidal wall", but for the life of me I cannot stop hearing "st" sounds in that section. When they repeat it, I hear it less, but still...
-"Sea, come and fall" or "Sea, covers all"... They both fit, or maybe my brain's just playing tricks on my ears. I may flip-flop on these.
-
+1 to both of you. Been looking for anything that explains the lyrics beyond 'leviathan'.
And I would go with Sea Covers All as it is the motto of the Maelstrom/Limsans who have a lot of history with Mr Fishy

Haha. You mention underestimating how much its modulated. In that video I linked he gives everyone an example of the raw sound he used. It's the "Drifting" line.

Although it helps a lot, he's still really hard to understand rofl.
-Yeah, definitely silence....but what follows is still a mystery to me. I swear I hear the female saying "Silence! A crowd(cloud?) of salty(rofl) sailors. Mistaken! Was all we are." I can't make out what she says after "Rising" though. I can in no way match these up to Soken singing though. None of it sounds similar in the least except for the single word "Silence."
- I understand your issue with Tidal wall. I can definitely hear the 'st' you mention and it threw me off for a while til I just ignored it. Almost like "Tistal wall" to me. On another note, I finally remembered to take note of Leviathan's skill in the fight...and it's Tidal Roar, not Tidal Wall.
- I'm going with "Come and fall." It's what I had heard originally, but it just sounded so dumb to me that I decided on something more similar to "Swallows all," "Covers all."
@Magnesium02: What you're looking for is "Till sea swallows all." Throughout the entire song, I waited for a reference to this...never got it, except for maybe the "To swallow up the world" bit.
Overall, aside from the words after Leviathan and the Silence line, I'm pretty satisfied with this.
-
I swear I keep hearing Tides will fall instead of Tidal Wall. I also kind of hear Season fall instead of seize their boat... And the "To Swallow up the world" part; I don't hear the word to but just swallow..

Leviathan, Leviathan! Lord of all the land!
Leviathan, Leviathan! Rules with iron hand!
Leviathan, Leviathan! Leads the brave and true!
Leviathan, Leviathan! Now come along and meet his trusty crew!
Leviathan, Leviathan will clip your tuft, split your hairs and ruffle your fluff.
Leviathan, Leviathan will throw you for a loop. Brave a wall of whiskers to find his troupe.
Leviathan, Leviathan is sly yet sweet. He'll tickle your nose then tickle your feet.
Leviathan, Leviathan's eye for fun is clear. He'll put an arrow straight in your rear!
Leviathan, Leviathan plays with fire. Poms a-burning on her pyre.
Leviathan, Leviathan likes her buddies big to sing a little song and dance a little jig.
Leviathan, Leviathan shivers and shakes. She'll stick you in the gut and give you bellyaches.
And who's behind them, standing tall?
Why, the biggest Primal of them all!
Leviathan, Leviathan! Kind and noble lord!
Nod your noggle nog and mind your gob or he'll put you to the sword!
Leviathan, Leviathan! His judgment you will dread.
Leviathan, Leviathan!
What do you decree?
What do you decree?
What do you decree?
Off with their heads!

@GurrenLagann
- I've actually considered that before, but logically it makes no sense. Leviathan would make tides rise, not fall. Plus in the female version you can clearly hear her say "Tidal wall." So I'm sticking with that.
- For the next two, you got to keep in mind that the singers are not native English speakers. I've heard others claim to hear "Season fall" as well, but I have two issues with it. First, it's very loosely related to Leviathan. Second, I hear see za bo. In the female version I hear sea of gold which makes no sense so I've gotta be mishearing, but it's also a good 10 revisions behind the version we hear in the fight so who knows. Thus, I opt for what makes sense.
- You could be right, but I really feel like I hear a hard 'T' before the "Swal." Surprised you didn't mention anything about him not enunciating the "low" in "Swallow." It makes more sense to me without the "To," that's for sure.
@bokchoykn
You forgot to add *creepy sahagin laughter* at the end.
-
when i first heard Levi's music, I swear they were saying "plenty of food, plenty of food" instead of "levia-than levia-than"
-
After hearing the female voice over a hundred times, I still hear Tides will Fall. You can clearly hear the word "will" and the "F" sound (well that's what I'm hearing not sure if you heard it right). Yes, I know they aren't native speakers but I just can't hear Tidal Wall.
