2.0 coming up on first birthday -- DPS queue issue still not addressed.

Maybe a better incentive would help, mean mounts are a bit meh, not like you can show them off in instances lol. Maybe they should of thought of adding unique armor for tanks for tanking certain events. Like if you tank coil 1-5 on warrior you get x vanity body piece and if you do it on paladin you get y vanity body piece.

If you tank extreme primals on warrior you get x ifrit armor and if you do it on PLD you get y ifrit armor. I would say an incentive like that would entice people to queue tank more and then they could do the same thing for healers, give them something they can show off for vanity, the mounts just don't really have a huge sense of "I need it" as much as a unique vanity piece would for some.

Seems like a better first step would be to make the current ones more fun....

I am nearly certain will we see exactly this type of content with the release of the gold saucer.

People play games for fun and you can't make players choose jobs they don't think are fun. This problem exists in every MMO that uses the Trinity ever.

They're already easy and straight forward. The only thing that might throw off some people who're newer to healing is the length of the global cooldown. Because it's so long you have to plan ahead and precast a lot more than other MMOs.

I'd personally like to see some new healing classes.

naaa, healers arent the problem, tanking is, i have a pld and i dont use it, first of all, everybody expects ill be pro, everybody ask for pro tanks i i dare to tank something, they will kick me the momment i made a mistake, so, im very happy with my scholar, its like a battle cleric, its fun enough for me, so maybe more tank jobs

What Data center are you from? On Balmung prime time DD ques are almost instant sometimes. Most I've waited tonight was 10 minutes on my Archer. On my Tank I actually got the same DD from a previous instance in my next one. I guess some Data center's are worse then others. I thought every ones ques were fairly quick :(.

the problem is people DONT want to play tanks or healers, if you dont like the time it takes to get in as dps, change to tank or healer. i dont really think they should remove the incentives, because i do get bored playing tanks and often want to dps, this at least gets me to go tank.

and yes these rewards can sometimes bring really crappy players or just lazy players to the job, and i do hope SE fixes this, but if you really want to fix this, SE needs to find a way to incentivize tanks to want to requeue in the dungeons, me personally, i dont feel much reason to do duty roulette once per day, let alone more. at least if they provide better incentives for repeat adventures, maybe this will increase the number of times tanks actually want to queue up

**by repeat, i mean queue up in duty roulette 2+ times, like give myth each time, and increase the gold received each time duty roulette is completed**

this is another problem here, if everyone expects their tanks to be elite immediately, it may hinder people's want to actually start tanking, or even healing.

As a Tank, the only DPS queue issue I come across is people not clicking confirm because they went AFK for to long.

That 2 cents actually had people, not all, but few people to take up healing and tank role. I noticed the increase.

you want 4 dps in the dungeon, what happens if one takes all the aggro, handles the boss, even death means a run from the checkpoint of the dungeon because there is no raise.

I find that Roulette is a great help.
