I would like to wave my hand and get rid of bots but the likelihood is the same as me waving my hand and getting rid of stupid people or waving my hand and having my dinner appear before my hands. None of which are ever going to happen.

it's sad.....ok they never disappear...
We have example with Microsoft policy against piracy..with no ban for a lot of tiem and maxy ban every times a big game went out....

This don't solve the problem....true...but at least..can we have this ban????

Here's the thing. There is literally no way you can implement a system that will prevent botting. It cannot happen. Cheating has existed in all games since the beginning of time. Unless developers come up with some sort of technology to literally watch you while you play and kick your ass if you cheat, which would be creepy and wrong, I doubt it'll ever go away.

Actually, even that wouldn't work. Hundreds of years ago, if you committed a crime, even a simple or trivial one, you'd find yourself being tortured to death. Hung upside down naked in front of a crowd of a hundred while two guys cut you from your groin to your brain with a rusty ripsaw. Guess what? People still committed crimes. Fear doesn't stop people, even if their life is on the line. This is a game.

It's not going away.

Why wrong???? Cheat discovered from log--->permaban...I don't see where is the wrong part?

Prevent botting all the tiem is impossible ok...but at least a punishment can be correct...

There are 10 botter? 2-3 banned is better than 0....

FFXIV + Beer + Netflix = 50 crafter

Its easy to craft and watch movies and relax.

if someone toss me a pointless tell while i work on a hard craft... i just ignore the tell lol isnt like u have alot time to chat while craftting =_=!
on easy grind craft with 250sp reward... for normal i look a movie while craftting and miss the most chat actions ;o
so toss a tell to me and say im botting cause i dont react to a pointless tell~ <all right> :D
