That's a lame excuse because I always end up not seeing anything through Black Mage and Bard Aoe as well as companions blocking enemies during fates and causing more screen clutter then a full scale Bahumat ever would.

heck if we could use minions everywhere (i.e. dungeons), I would settle for a minion if it looked like the actual carbuncle (maybe downscaled?) and not a stuffed animal. I just really think it's a shame that SE made such an awesome and cute model for carbuncle just to never be seen by anyone ever.

You can turn off spell effects though, you can't turn off pets. And if the companion's current size blocks stuff, then isn't that an argument to keep pets small? It shows that having big pets would be annoying.

They are adding the ability for people to use companions in dungeons and raids so if they can make that work I'm sure they can accommodate full scale Primals.

It's a wonderful excuse, because I can turn down the spell effects of other players if they bother me or impair my ability to play. If you also include the option to scale summoner pets for your personal client, then by all means make yours the size of a house. Mine would be no bigger than fairies. SMN pets are just small enough for me as-is to be playable right now.

This is not a solo game. Other people do not want your summons filling their screens for any length of time just so you can feel powerful.

same goes with any other class's filling the screen with magic spells ability. This is why SE should make a option to it turn off or on for egi.

Get ur brain out of the gutter no one said they need to be huge. There size should be in creased just a little bit more than what they are now someone post in a thread the right size for them before. I just wish they didn't look like candy. They look like bloody sweets lool. Worst looking summons to date compered to other FF games. And sizes has nothing to do with it cause Carbuncle looks amazing.

has anyone else noticed that most smns cry all day about smn?
