Goats does that too. They stalk you...then you turn around and stare at them...they lower their heads and start gazing.. (>.....>

Oh and let's not forget their big brother: Goblin Smithy... Biggest troll in the game. Just when you thought you got past him with a mandie the stupid thing would turn on a dime and then murder your entire party...

mobs that aggro by sound are still ingame.

Let's not forget the crabs, whenever you came close they would stand on their back limps and brandish their sharp claws in your face as a warning.

They actually had a policy of no survivors left behind, that's why if someone zoned they would camp the zone itself.

Clearly FFXIV needs more Marlboros >.<

But seriously, they're lethal if you're careless.

FFXI sounds cool in a more dangerous way. I wouldn't mind some scary mobs roaming.

I believe that was Cactuar Jack, I also miss those nms.

Its a shame they did away with mob AI and just gave them lackluster patterns and forgettable tp moves. I like smart mobs, as it stands right now they are mostly just a joke, even bosses.
