The word "Flying" in 1st expansion

Ya either a content or it could involve the storyline for 1st expansion requiring us to take to the Sky for a story reason.

Or it could be the general Theme of 1st expansion involving a lot of content and Main Storyline going into the Sky.

Well there are already a few hints about Omega in 2.2 storyline unless the one behind that event mentioned in 2.2 through dialogue that happened in Sharlayan is another Ultima Weapon that has been dug up.

Maybe flyyyyying over to Garlemald?

I'd be totally down with the idea of flying between floating continents or fighting with giant flying fortresses. Just so long as we aren't jumping on a flying mount to run down the street for a sandwich because, "Why the hell not?"

Could be the Garlean Empire

They already released a few arts covering some interesting Garlean places that will require a Airship to enter such as this Garlean Air-ship base

Events in the Current storyline seem to have started to set up events happening in the Garlean Empire such as the War of Succession.

Hmm, flying eh? Can't wait to see what options we have for building our Airships, and how much Airship-accessed content SE provides~

I would like to see FC built airships like they promised years ago, maybe airship battles, floating islands, {SKY} {Can I have it!}

I'd rather swim.

The way the zones are set up in 2.0 I don't see having flying mounts, but if the maps/zones(open world) was like 1.0 I could see using flying mounts

Airship housing. FFXII style. Do it Yoshida. I know you want to.

Also airship related fights, traveling, etc for classic and nostalgic FF feels.
