This topic belongs under the server forums.
But I do agree that people don't regularly visit them at all.

You can take this as a call from an interserveral place in order to know how many Mysidians there are. Not much people would go into the Mysidia thread and talk about "Who's from Mysidia". So this thread can live in both the places.

Yeah! :P I think the reason I had so much fun in FFXI is because I had a capped Friends List >.> since I'm a pretty social person I was able to make friends while in EXP parties all the time. However, since this game "currently" doesn't really promote party play (will prolly be fixed in the patches coming soon) other than a couple buffs, it's tough to make all of those friends. Especially in the game's current state. Here is to hoping for a more lively experience in Eorzea! ^^
