Heart thumping music? It's gotta be Titan's theme or the navel theme, whatever it's called. The intensity of that music is just incredible.

To me I think (ultimate bane) battle song got everyone else beat in game. Ultimate bane battle song just gets me all hyped up I like to fight him just cause the music and of course to me bane is a fun fight, specially when ifrit is hiding in the flames doing his drive-bys.. lol good times..

I know the thread is meant to be about intensity, but I really like the new HM dungeons final boss themes. They have a real old school FF feel about them.

The battle theme from Cape Westwind, I think. Plays for the last boss of CM too.

That is "Beneath Bloodied Banners" and is from 1.0. The other boss theme used in this dungeon is "Birds of a Feather"

For me, it's a pick between:

Boss music for Binding Coil of Bahamut 1 - 4, 6 - 7 (haven't been to 8 and 9 yet)
Battle on the Big Bridge (FFXIV: ARR version)
Leviathan 2nd phase (post Tidal Wave)
Under the Weight (Titan's last phase)
